The Paulinskill Trail Committee
celebrated its 20th consecutive new Year's Day hike. This year
over 20 trail committee members and many regular non members met a
Footbridge park In Blairstown at 10am new year's morning for this annual
event. What a great way to start the nee year and begin any get in
shape resolution you may have made. PVT hikes are always geared
toward the hiking abilities of those present and usually are 5 to 7
miles in length. The Paulinskill
Valley Trail is the scenic abandoned bed of the New York, Susquehanna
and Western Railroads going from near Columbia, NJ in Warren County to
Sparta Junction. The trail is part of Kittatinny Valley State park
and a mostly level cinder bed path with many historical artifacts still
in place. The Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee organizes many
activities open to the public. Pictured
